Tackle Football Practice Hours Policy:
The NP PAL Football Program follows an established safety policy that complies with national standards, regarding practice time. NP PAL football players must accumulate a certain number
of hours of supervised practice time with their team and coaches, each season, before they are permitted to engage in full contact practice, scrimmages and regular season games.
The policy is as follows:

  • All NP PAL tackle football players must practice for 10 hours, conditioning format, before they can engage in a "full-contact/full-pads" practice.

  • All NP PAL tackle football players must practice for an additional 10 hours in full pads, before they can participate in a scrimmage or regular season game.
